S.T.A.R.S. of Texas Shih Tzu Adoption and Rescue Society of Texas

All of our rescues are in caring foster homes where they are socialized, loved and receive much needed medical care. They are often rescued from shelters in deplorable condition in need of immediate medical attention, who have become afraid of people and are skeptical of everyone. Through our foster homes, these once abused Shih Tzu become loving, healthy, trusting companions, which we are then able to adopt out to families.
