MidWest Area Pit Stop (MAPS)We are a non-profit (501c3 status pending) Pit Bull Terrier rescue in Madison, WI. We make regular trips to Rockford, Illinois and Michigan City, Indiana. So approved applicants have many geographic options to see our foster dogs. Our goal is to help as many deserving, homeless Pit Bull Terriers as possible that have been abandoned. We work extensively with Humane Societies and/or Animal Control Facilities in the Upper Midwest to save Pit Bull Terriers.. We want to place them in homes...........not just any home, but the right home for them, where they will be loved and well cared for. We conduct extensive background checks on all potential adopters. These sweet pets are loved and protected by foster parents in their homes with families until they are adopted. The foster family's get to know the pet and help train them and let prospective adoptive parents know about the pet's personalities.
