Humane Society of Houma-Terrebonne

We are a non-profit, community-supported animal welfare organization. The objectives and purposes of this Society are: To Engage in activities that shall encourage and promote responsible pet ownership To Promote Spaying and Neutering as an important step towards curbing the growing homeless pet population. To Prevent cruelty toward and the suffering of animals To Encourage humane Legislation within the State and Terrebonne Parish To Advance humane education and other programs related to the promotion of kindness and compassion to all living things To Engage in any and all activities in furtherance of the foregoing objectives. The corporation shall also seek to enforce by lawful means all laws which are now or which hereinafter all be acted for the protection of animals.
