We are a not for profit organization and a "Friend of the Carroll County Animal Shelter" We are in the process of gaining our nonprofit 501(c)3 Status and our Shelter License with the State of Georgia. Humane Friends of West Georgia is a brand new rescue group determined to make a difference. We are a small, ethical, rescue dedicated to helping homeless animals find their furrever home! We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better. The Humane Friends of West Georgia, Inc. has a mission to work together with local rescues, educate the public regarding the serious problem with the pet overpopulation situation, advertise available animals via the internet, assist the local shelters in any way needed, and show compassion for all.
