Description Friends of the Animal Shelter strives to match dogs in a certain Suffolk County shelter, or with various dogs in rescue groups on Long Island and NYC, with the best possible adopters. We also strive to help adopters find a new best friend in various rescues where the dog may not be listed on Petfinder yet.
