Westchester Shore Humane Society

its role as an animal shelter, is to provide an effective means for prevention of cruelty to animals, to enforce all laws which are now or may hereafter be enacted for the protection of animals, and to secure, by lawful means, the arrest and conviction of any person violating such laws. The humane society serves seven communities in southern Westchester: Harrison (until June 1st), Mamaroneck Town, Pelham, Port Chester, Rye Brook, Rye City and White Plains. On average, the humane society will receive and respond to almost 2,000 calls
