	| Chessie Rescue VA, Inc. is an all volunteer, non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in need in Virginia and placing them in permanent, loving homes. We support and encourage the efforts of clubs, organizations and individuals to rescue adoptable, purebred or mixed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers from animal shelters, owners who can no longer care for their dogs in a responsible way, or strays found wandering at large. Our goal is to educate the public on responsible dog ownership including spaying and neutering of pets, and to inform prospective Chessie owners of the special qualities, characteristics and requirements of our breed before they acquire a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

	| More than 28,000 dogs and cats are killed in Chicago every year -- even more animals are neglected and abused.
The Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation's mission is to decrease the thousands of euthanizations and abuses in our city through dog rescue and adoption. CCRF saves displaced and homeless dogs throughout the Chicagoland area and places these dogs in loving area homes through responsible adoption. By working with our adopters and the community on adoption and the humane treatment of animals, CCRF believes that we can instill respect and appreciation for animals and contribute to making Chicago a no-kill city. 3304 N.
