Midwest American Bulldog Rescue

MWABR is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned American Bulldogs. All rescued dogs are evaluated for temperament and level of training before being placed in the appropriate permanent home. We may not be able to save every American Bulldog, but we will do our best to save and place as many as we are able. MWABR currently serves Wisconsin and neighboring mid-western states including Chicago and nearby suburbs.

MidWest Area Pit Stop (MAPS)

We are a non-profit (501c3 status pending) Pit Bull Terrier rescue in Madison, WI. We make regular trips to Rockford, Illinois and Michigan City, Indiana. So approved applicants have many geographic options to see our foster dogs. Our goal is to help as many deserving, homeless Pit Bull Terriers as possible that have been abandoned. We work extensively with Humane Societies and/or Animal Control Facilities in the Upper Midwest to save Pit Bull Terriers.. We want to place them in homes...........not just any home, but the right home for them, where they will be loved and well cared for. We conduct extensive background checks on all potential adopters. These sweet pets are loved and protected by foster parents in their homes with families until they are adopted. The foster family's get to know the pet and help train them and let prospective adoptive parents know about the pet's personalities. We work hard to find the best homes for the pets because they deserve nothing less.............

MIDWEST FARM ANIMAL RESCUE

We do not have any paid staff, no corporate jets, Swiss bank accounts or luxury condos in foreign lands. The animals are rescued and cared for daily, by volunteers. The costs we have are specialty feeds, vet expenses, hay, straw, woodshavings, and farm supplies like water heaters, tanks, garden hoses, electric cords... nothing too fancy. What what we have seen over the last few months, is an influx of calls from people who can no longer afford to feed their animals

Midwest Italian Greyhound Rescue

We are a rescue organization run by volunteers and representatives of the IGCA (Italian Greyhound Club of America) as well as other groups dedicated to saving lives! We have been oing Italian Greyhound rescue in the Midwest for over 10 years. All our dogs are in foster homes through Southern WI and surrounding areas and placed in WI or neighboring states. IGs in our program come from a variety of sources but most are owner surrenders given up when the family is no longer able to keep their pet. The dogs are fostered in our families until the right home is found.

Milwaukee's Adoptable Dog Rescue

his rescue came into existence for many reasons including discrimination against certain breeds. We started as a result of the compassion and love for "all" dogs that are adoptable. They "ALL" deserve a good home

Mit Liebe Shepherd Rescue

Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue began in October of 1997. In those 6 years we have 'rescued' just over 100 German Shepherd Dogs. The rescue was started because of the problem of overpopulation, not only GSDs, but all pets. German Shepherd Dogs have been a favorite breed of mine for years. The German Shepherd Dog is a loyal, brave, and beautiful companion. With our volunteers, we are trying to make a difference. The best part of rescue is seeing a dog that was sick and underweight when he came into rescue, going to his forever home, healthy and at a comfortable weight. One of the hardest parts of rescue, is saying no to a shelter or an owner surrender. NO, meaning that we just do not have any room. And if none of the rescues have room, then what happens to the dog? Please, have your pet spayed or neutered.
