We are a group of Western PA & WV Doberman lovers trying to rescue and re-home abandoned, displaced and unwanted Dobermans into loving and caring homes in our surrounding area. The rescue is dedicated to and named after my beloved Doberman, Damon, whom I lost after much too short a time due to complications from Wobblers.

By rescuing and rehabilitating homeless Labradors and by vigorously promoting responsible dog ownership in our community through active participation in pet-related events and through our own education program, we strive for a better life for each of our animals. The Labradors in the rescue program are usually strays, refugees from a pound or shelter, or owner relinquished. Most of the dogs are young adults, not puppies. Rescue labs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (rabies, distemper/parvo, bordatella) and heartworm-tested before they are placed

We are a no-kill - not for profit dog & cat rescue group that rescues injured, abandoned and/or abused animals (that most rescue groups would not take), and do "whatever it takes" to make them better. Once healed, we rely entirely on foster homes to nurture the animals until we find their permanent "forever" home

We are a no-kill - not for profit dog & cat rescue group that rescues injured, abandoned and/or abused animals (that most rescue groups would not take), and do "whatever it takes" to make them better. Once healed, we rely entirely on foster homes to nurture the animals until we find their permanent "forever" home.
We DO NOT euthanize because they are injured and their care will be costly - nor do we euthanize because the animal is too old to be adopted. We take animals that most other no-kill organizations will not take --- which makes us a TRUE no-kill organization.
We are comprised ENTIRELY of volunteers and no-one receives compensation for their time. We have no funding available to us other than donations and grants we apply for and, contrary to what many people believe -
WE DO NOT GET OUR VET SERVICES FOR FREE!
We pay - just like you do!
We are forever holding fundraising events to raise money to cover our vet bills and keep our fingers crossed with the rest!
And no matter what the vet bill was or the pedigree of the dog or cat, our adoption fees for dogs are $175.00 and that includes a microchip! Cats/kittens are $75.00. Your pet donation is a tax deductible donation to you and will be applied toward the vet bill.

We are a married couple with no children. We take in rescues based on need and space. Space is very limited as we have our own pets and a small house. However, we do our best to accomodate each and every person who contacts us to relinquish a pet. If we can't help we try to find someone who can.
