Recycled Pets RescueWe are a no kill rescue working to find homes for homeless and unwanted animals and the ones that are said to be not adoptable, We do are very best to insure good life long loving homes for our animals. We provide them with everything they need and could want during there stay here at our rescue. If they have a issue of any kind we work with them on there issue. We take in ANY animal as long as we have the space and equipment they need to care for them properly. We do NOT charge surrender fee's to there owners, its hard enough for them to give up there beloved pet(s) much less pay for them to get there forever homes. So we do not charge surrender fee's and we do our best to get them homes that the adopter and the pet can feel confortable with. Our rescue is operated out of our home so they each get the attention they need and deserve, Sometimes we foster our animals and can always use more fosters. If you would like to be considered a foster please email for a foster application. All our animals are VERY happy with there stay here while there new forever homes are being found. Greyhound Pets Of America - WisconsinWe are a Greyhound-placement organization that accepts Greyhounds primarily from the Wisconsin Greyhound racetracks and local shelters. Through a network of local veterinarians, our organization provides full examinations, spaying, neutering, dental care and other needed medical procedures prior to adoption. GPA Wisconsin's Milwaukee and Madison adoption operations rely heavily upon Greyhound-savvy families to act as temporary "foster homes" for ex-racers to make the transition to home life while awaiting adoption. Fostering is a very rewarding activity, where the foster family helps a Greyhound explore a home (most have never seen stairs, patio doors and other interesting things), recuperate from spay or neuter surgery, learn good manners, and best of all, learn that the transition to becoming a pet is journey filled with love. It is through this program we are able to allow each adopted Greyhound to join its new family in the best possible condition. German Shepherd Rescue Alliance of WisconsinOn March 30, 2001, German Shepherd Rescue Alliance of Wisconsin, Inc. (GSRAW) was incorporated, although operations had begun in the support of the defined mission more than one year prior. GSRAW has no shelter and operates utilizing a phone, post office box, e-mail and internet networking systems. Occasionally boarding kennels are options used to save an animal's life. Although GSRAW has only been in operation for 5 years, collectively our members have many years of experience in evaluating temperaments, fostering, placing and training German Shepherd Dogs. GSRAW views its mission as increasing public awareness against animal cruelty and overpopulation while rescuing and finding homes for displaced and unwanted German Shepherd Dogs throughout Wisconsin and further, if needed. GSRAW has a long-term dedication to this breed and its fair and humane treatment. Our organization provides rescue, support, and placement of unwanted or displaced German Shepherd Dogs regardless of age, size, sex and health. MidWest Area Pit Stop (MAPS)We are a non-profit (501c3 status pending) Pit Bull Terrier rescue in Madison, WI. We make regular trips to Rockford, Illinois and Michigan City, Indiana. So approved applicants have many geographic options to see our foster dogs. Our goal is to help as many deserving, homeless Pit Bull Terriers as possible that have been abandoned. We work extensively with Humane Societies and/or Animal Control Facilities in the Upper Midwest to save Pit Bull Terriers.. We want to place them in homes...........not just any home, but the right home for them, where they will be loved and well cared for. We conduct extensive background checks on all potential adopters. These sweet pets are loved and protected by foster parents in their homes with families until they are adopted. The foster family's get to know the pet and help train them and let prospective adoptive parents know about the pet's personalities. Wisconsin Rottwieler RescueWisconsin Rottweiler Rescue is a breed rescue initiative founded by Joan Sweeney in 1994. We are located in Madison, Wisconsin and work closely with the Dane County Humane Society and the local AKC all-breed club. All dogs placed by WRR are health/temperament checked, including heartworm testing and preventative, and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We take in dogs from our area shelters, bring them into a home environment, train and get them the medical care they need to be adoptable. Nearly all of the dogs we bring in are good with both dogs and cats.
