Jodie's Jiggley Piggley RescueMy 11 year old daughter Jodie, and myself, founded Jodie's Jiggley Piggley Farm back in September 2002. As long time guinea pig owners, we decided we would like to take in a few needy little oinkers. Our snowballing project went from a few small cages on the basement counter, to an entire guinea pig room that often spilled over to the rest of the house too! Then came a website, fund raising, publicity planning and even volunteers! Our little hobby had really taken on a life of it's own. King's County Animal ControlAs animal control by-law enforcement officers, we are constantly in the position of deciding the fate of abandoned dogs. Over one hundred dogs typically pass through our pound each year. Of these dogs, about half are strays that get reclaimed by their owners.
