Although we specialize in Jack Russell Terriers and Jack mixes, we never turn away a dog in need. We are a no-kill shelter and keep our dogs until the perfect home is found. Please do not be offended if for some reason you are refused a pet you are interested in. I do my best to match the potential adopter with the "right dog". We are a home based shelter. Our rescues and fosters live with us, which gives us a better understanding of each pets personality.

Furever Friends Pet Rescue is a "no kill" organization. Adoptable animals stay with us until they find their forever home. In an effort to curb pet overpopulation and be part of the solution to the problem, we spay or neuter EVERY pet prior to adoption. We operate an adoption center in McDonough at 1950 Jonesboro Rd., in the Petsmart. Additional animals are cared for in foster homes and may be seen by appointment.

Southeast Pug Rescue Adoption, Inc. was formed in 1990 to aid in placing lost, surrendered or abandoned pugs in loving, caring homes primarily in the Southeast. Although, we will take *any* pug in need from any place. we also have affilaite groups in Alabama and Missouri. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3), not for profit organization dedicated to our pugs. SEPRA will take any and all pugs regardless of age, health and/or temperament, and also takes pug mixes. Our pugs come from a variety of avenues including shelters, surrenders, and even found wandering down the streets. All pugs are placed in foster care with dedicated volunteers for evaluation and vet-work, which includes: shots, spaying/neutering and treatment for any illnesses, if necessary. We've had many come through with heartworms, hip problems, eye problems, broken limbs etc. We will treat all. Due to this, there is an adoption fee to help recover the never ending vet bills (donations are also gladly accepted as well.)

Labrador Friends of the South (LFS) is an incorporated, non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of homeless Labrador Retrievers in the Southeast region. We are currently applying for 501(c)(3) status.
LFS relies solely on donations, fundraising events and adoption fees to function and continue saving and placing homeless Labradors. We do not receive any state or federal funding. LFS is an all volunteer organization of people who give their time, effort, and love for labs to protect and save them from the perils of pet over-population and irresponsible pet ownership. Our ultimate goal is to help these dogs find new, loving, forever homes.
