Broken Arrow Animal ShelterWe are a municipal run shelter. We are a division of the Police Department. WE ARE NOT NO-KILL. Most of our animals are picked up running the streets, getting into trash, causing accidents, viciously charging people, etc. Some are turned in to the shelter because their owner's either no longer want them or they simply can't care for them anymore. Although we are a rather small shelter, we do our best in saving as many as possible. We do work with several rescue groups that pull adoptable animals that were not adopted in the allotted time frame in which we hold them. Strays are held for 5 working days to give the owner a chance to reclaim them. After that, we reserve the right to place them up for adoption, allow them to go to a rescue, or euthanize them.Owner surrenders are available immediately for adoption, rescue, or euthanization. Our animals are given the best possible chance to get seen and get adopted or reclaimed. Cimmaron Valley Humane SocietyWE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER! BUT EACH MONTH WE HAVE TO TURN DOWN AROUND 50 DOGS OR CATS BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE SPACE FOR THEM. PLEASE HELP US ! SPAY AND NEUTER, ADOPT, FOSTER, AND DO ALL YOU CAN FOR THE ANIMALS THAT CAN'T DO FOR THEMSELVES! We are a newly formed shelter with lots of learning to do. We don't actually have a shelter building, we are a network of homes trying to help our furry friends. Donations appreciated! We don't charge for the daily feeding and care of the dogs & cats, we just want to help them find forever homes and loving owners. We do charge a small fee for neutering or spaying the dogs & cats (our cost). Also our cost for getting them heart worm or feline virus checked and all shots up to date. We do not adopt animals without spaying or neutering them first. Drumright Animal ShelterKim Ramsey , Sarah McClendon, Ann Dodson and Doug Mauck are volunteers at the shelter. Any of these people will be more than happy to assist you in finding your pet or helping you find just the right animal to be your forever companion !! We are located beside Drumright's water pollution control facility. North on Harley St. to Maple St. Then East on Maple St. until you reach the Drumright water pollution control facility. Nowata Animal ShelterNowata Animal Shelter is a small non-profit shelter located in Nowata, Oklahoma. The shelter is ran by Holly Ridenhour Animal Control. The shelter has 8 inside/outside runs and 4 small inside runs. We are always full as we are the only shelter for the entire Nowata County. It is sad that we must put down one amimal only to make room for another. We are going to expand and have 20 some runs this summer, It will help us keep and save more lifes. We do adopted out as many as we can, We have them in the paper as well as the petfinder site. We are running to Tulsa to Spay Okla Inc, once a month to help low income families get pets fixed. We only have 9 cat cages and are hoping the new building will have enough room to have a catroom. We are over run with cats and plan to start a barn cat program soon.1001 E.
