| The Broome County Animal Care Council (ACC), Inc. was created in 1978; since 1993 our emphasis has been on spaying/neutering assistance and animal rescue. Thanks to our wonderful location and our exceptional volunteers, we now place an average of 40 cats and kittens each month. | We are a vet clinic who has also devoted some of our time to trying to help orphaned, left behind, or unwanted pets. We work with cats more than dogs, just because it is much more difficult to keep a dog at the office than it is a cat. 7775 E. Main St, Reynoldsburg OH US 43068 Ph: 6148640465

	| The ACL's mission is...
Protecting animals from improper use, abuse, neglect, inhumane treatment and health hazards.
Educating the public about responsible pet ownership.
Sheltering lost, abandoned and unwanted animals.
Preventing the birth of unwanted animals.
Reuniting lost pets and their families.
Adopting animals into loving and responsible homes.
Lovingly caring for the pets that reside in our animal shelter.
This mission is accomplished through the dedication and energy of our small shelter staff, board of directors, and legion of faithful volunteers. The Animal Care League accepts dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens, which we care for until we find responsible new owners. These animals have either been surrendered by their owners who can no longer keep them or have been transferred from other animal control facilities. Our ability to accept animals is limited to the space we have available. We euthanize animals only in cases of irremediable health problems or other grave circumstances. We have had an early spay/neuter program in place since 1994; this allows us to spay or neuter each animal we offer for adoption, one of our contributions to ending the horrible cycle of pet overpopulation.
We rely entirely on membership dues, donations, and proceeds from our fundraising projects to finance our mission 1013 Garfield, Oak Park IL US 60304 Ph: 7088488155

	| The Animal Care Society's prime purpose is to find new, caring homes for pets whose owners can no longer give them the love or care they need. We provide a "home away from home" atmosphere and access to medical care. Because our space is limited and we do not practice euthanasia, a pet's age, temperament, and health are factors we must assess before taking in any pet. 12207 Westport Rd., Louisville KY US 40245 Ph: 5024266303Fax: 5024260829
