| Shannon visits care homes frequently with “therapy animals to brighten the day of handicapped and elderly people.
Shannon talks at assemblies at many local schools, discussing animal care, the importance of spay and neuter, and how to approach strange dogs.
During the school year, we provide tours of our rescue to hundreds of local school children.
Miranda’s Rescue provides many opportunities for community members to volunteers. There are now over 40 active volunteers who do everything from cleaning cat boxes and walking dogs to answering phones and writing newsletter articles. The rescue could not function without all these wonderful volunteers PO BOX 864, FORTUNA CA US 95540 Ph: 7077254449

	| Miss Alli's is a very small, no kill rescue in middle Tennessee that works hard to help out stray, abandoned, mistreated, or shelter animals in need. We are very limited on the number of animals that we can take in at one time due to funding and foster homes, but we do our best to take very good care of them and work very hard to make the animals feel safe, happy and loved PO Box 876, Portland TN US 37148 Ph: 6152684275

	| We're happy to announce that we now have the ability to place Tennessee dogs in forever homes up in New England, as well as in our own area! We are able to transport our great Southern dogs to Massachusetts and New Hampshire - anyone in those or any other New England area state is encouraged to inquire about our dogs (we can make arrangements to meet those who do not live in MA or NH to get dogs to them). Transportation is included in the adoption fee for that area! If you are interested in this adoption option, please email us for details! , Decatur TN US 37322
