	| Promises for Pets is an organization dedicated to addressing the issues of homeless, unwanted, neglected, and abused dogs and cats through community service, education and a future no-kill adoption and education center. Our Mission is to serve and educate the community regarding the health and welfare of dogs and cats as companion animals. Above all, we will strive to eliminate unwarranted euthanasia by providing education, access to low cost spaying and neutering services, immunization clinics, and a no-kill shelter and adoption site. We will identify and decrease the instances of animal neglect and cruelty through education, investigation and follow through. Promises for Pets also currently offers Foster Home Placement for otherwise homeless animals. All animals in foster care are fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered before adoption. | Project HALO is a non-profit, NO-KILL rescue organization based in Charlotte, NC. Currently we are a 100% volunteer organization and are privately funded. Without volunteers and private donations we would not exist. We rescue homeless, stray and unwanted dogs and cats. We take care of all the vet work including shots, sterilization and heartworm treatment, when necessary. All of Project HALO's animals are vet current and sterilized prior to adoption. We feel that this is the only way to run an animal shelter in a responsible manner. 2500 Taimi Dr PO Box 667924, Charlotte NC US 28214
