Sandhills Animal Rescue League, IncSandhills Animal Rescue League is a non-profit, volunteer-operated organization located in the beautiful Sandhills of North Carolina. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for unwanted felines and canines until they are adopted into loving homes. Our volunteers foster these pets in their own homes and often pay for certain expenses from their own pockets. Our "rescues" come from many sources, including our local pound. After we bring the pets into our care, they are evaluated by our veterinarian, rehabilitated if necessary, then given appropriate preventive veterinary care.
