Paws and More Animal RescuePaws And More Animal Rescue is dedicated to Jessie. Jessie was the type of dog most people dream of having, perfect if you will. When she passed I felt very empty and began visiting local shelters and saw the devastating mess that careless people were leaving behind when they got tired of there companions or found it to difficult to spay and neuter. I adopted a very pitiful Dalmatian and nursed her back to health. I then began trying to find a rescue that would place her only to find out that all the rescues were full with dogs that were or had been throuth the same as this poor dalmatian. Which is what inspired me to begin taking in dogs of my own to adopt out. So now, like the rest, I have filled my house with unwanted companions who are looking for forever homes. We are a completely not for profit rescue that is currently run only by family. The rescue exists only on personal income. All adoptoin fee's are used for the needs of the animals. We strive to place unwanted or neglected animals into loving forever homes. Most of our adoptable pets are dogs rescued from kill shelters but we also provide a safehaven for farm animals until they also can find their forever homes. Rescuecats, Inc.RescueCats, Inc. is a no-kill, nonprofit, licensed by GA Dept of AG, organization whose main focus is educating the public about proper treatment of animals, which includes addressing pet overpopulation issues and the importance of spay and neutering. We provide temporary care for orphaned and owner released kittens and cats. Foster care, including shelter, food/water, love, and necessary medical care is given to each animal until it can be adopted into a suitable home. Cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (Feline Leukemia & Feline Aids), dewormed, vaccinated for RCPC (distemper combo)& Rabies(if old enough), Bordetella, treated for fleas, ear mites, and anything else that might be necessary prior to adoption. The animals are spayed or neutered to stop the cycle of overpopulation and to improve the overall health of the cat or kitten.
