Community Angel NetworkWe are Westmoreland Countys finest all volunteer "no kill" animal rescue group. We adopt through a network of caring volunteers who provide loving foster homes and the Greensburg Petsmart. Our pets are adopted to exceptional forever homes only. Community Angel Network relies on donations and fund raisers to operate and receives no government funding. Pitt County Humane Society, INCThe Humane Society in Eastern North Carolina was established over 20 years ago to protect animals from cruelty and abuse. It was designed not only to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets but also to act as a resource and service to the community of Pitt County. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners how to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more of the unwanted pets to enter our gates.
