Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter Inc.Founded in 2001, the Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter was established to respond to a community need. Formal status as a non-profit was secured in January, 2002. In June, 2003, construction began on a 9,457 square foot facility situated on 3.71acres of land at the edge of a beautiful tract of U.S. Forest Service land on East Boggs Mountain Road in Tiger, Georgia. Bond County Adopt-A-PetWe started Bond County Adopt-A-Pet in June of 1992. Our board members are: Oliver Stowe, DVM, Susan Chandler, Debbie Haughland and Jim and Mary Price. Attorney William Dillow donated all his legal fees and filing fees to help get us started. Thanks to him and our board members, we have saved 2993 animals since we started.
