LIFELINE FOSTERS NORTHEAST is a Petfinder site for fosters in NY and PA to list their pets for adoption. We are a group of individuals who rescue independently and so there is no building, but each of us fosters individually in our homes. We rescue from many different shelters--and frequently bring animals into our group who might otherwise lose their lives. While we try and stick with poms, terriers, and small dogs, we also take in puppies as they become "urgent" in shelters. Most of all, we take in as many wonderful seniors as possible--those wonderful dogs who make such devoted pets and give so much love, especially to senior citizens. And they are almost always already housetrained. So if you have a senior looking for a senior pet, check back often.

The Front Street Dog Shelter is a County owned facility, but we receive no County funding. Our primary purpose is to provide safe and professional care for stray and lost dogs and puppies. Regardless of whether the animals in our care are strays, or turned over to the shelter by their owners ... our goal is to place healthy, stable animals in lifelong, loving homes.
