Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue is a group of volunteers concerned with the welfare of Great Danes.
It is our purpose to find new, permanent, and loving homes for Great Danes that have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned in primarily Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Utah.
We are a nonprofit organization that derives its operating funds from donations.
We believe that Danes are most misunderstood because of their size.
We know Great Danes to be extremely sensitive and loving creatures whose hearts are greater than they are big.
With this in mind Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue chooses to understand the specific needs of each dane and adopting home in an attempt to find the best possible match.

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in May of 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.

Cat Care Society, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 1981 to improve the quality of life for homeless, injured and abused cats in the Denver metropolitan area. Established by Linda East, DVM and Lynn Rowe, the Society's purposes are: To sponsor educational programs that promote responsible pet ownership, humane treatment of all animals, and to reduce pet overpopulation. To shelter cats in a healthy, cage free environment and to provide compatible and responsible adoptions. To provide community outreach programs that improve the quality of life for cats and people. To be a friend to all cats. The shelter provides a temporary refuge for up to 50 cats until an appropriate and permanent home can be found for each. Veterinary care, premium diet, and human interaction are lovingly provided. Unfortunately, we are able to accept only a limited number of cats because of a "full house".
